Introduction

The first season of JAG premiered on NBC on 23 September 1995, and concluded on 15 July 1996.

The season, initially starring David James Elliott and Tracey Needham, (and starring Andrea Parker), was produced by Belisarius Productions in association with NBC Productions and Paramount Television.

Outline

A pilot and son of a female US Senator attached to a team of SEAL’s dies, apparently due to negligence on the part of the SEAL’s. The Senator initially wants to put the blame on the SEAL’s, but Admiral Chegwidden and Harm find that the real cause of the pilot’s death lies elsewhere.
