Introduction

It is the first spin-off series of NCIS.

Outline

The team suspects that the death of a naval officer ruled as a suicide could be a murder, and that the crime implies a possible threat to national security. And things get worse when it is discovered that the victim was actually a spy working for the Chinese government with technology capable of compromising an important mission he was due to embark on before his suicide. This revelation leads the team to a rogue sleeper cell and they must save the victim’s family before it is too late.
