Introduction

The second season of the American television drama series Homeland premiered on 30 September 2012 on Showtime and concluded on 16 December 2012, consisting of 12 episodes.

The series is loosely based on the Israeli television series Hatufim (English: Prisoners of War) created by Gideon Raff and is developed for American television by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa.

Outline

Carrie travels to Beirut to meet up with her asset, who gives her information on Abu Nazir meeting with the head of Hezbollah. The CIA attempts to assassinate Nazir but Brody gives him the heads up to escape.
