Introduction

The third season of the American television drama series Homeland premiered on 29 September 2013 on Showtime, and concluded on 15 December 2013, consisting of 12 episodes.

The series is loosely based on the Israeli television series Hatufim (English: Prisoners of War) created by Gideon Raff and is developed for American television by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa.

Outline

Brody is revealed to be alive but wounded, having arrived in Caracas, where he is treated. Brody attempts to go to a mosque to help him leave Caracas, however the imam turns him in to the police. Carrie is still locked up and gets a visit from a lawyer who wants to make her an offer to get her out.
