Introduction

The third season of the American television drama series Homeland premiered on 29 September 2013 on Showtime, and concluded on 15 December 2013, consisting of 12 episodes.

The series is loosely based on the Israeli television series Hatufim (English: Prisoners of War) created by Gideon Raff and is developed for American television by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa.

Outline

Saul convinces Mossad to help them with their mission in Iran. Carrie goes to Iran posing as a Swiss tourist. The IRGC questions Brody, and has him meet Abu Nazir’s widow to help determine if he can be trusted. Brody, after gaining their trust, kills Akbari.
