Introduction
Commando VIP is a British reality television show that aired on Channel 5 (UK) from 19 October to 23 November 2005.
Outline
It put six celebrities through tough military-style challenges after being trained by three real commandos.
The contestant were tested on their fitness and also their brains by completing tough training in preparation for six missions; these included locating a downed pilot over enemy lines across rugged and tough terrain, and sieging a building to save hostages.
The celebrities who took part included:
- Nigel Benn (boxer and ex-soldier).
- Steve Collins (boxer).
- Jason Cowan (former Big Brother contestant and Ex-Royal Navy).
- Ryan Dunn (from Jackass).
- Lee Latchford-Evans (former member of Steps).
- Heather Peace (actress, ex-Ultimate Force).
