Outline

In the Hunger Winter of 1944 there was a great shortage of food in large parts of the Netherlands. Thousands of people, often children, therefore go out every day in search of food. Walking, on rickety bicycles, or broken prams. Marie (12 years old, The Hague) also goes on a heavy hunger tour with her brother to exchange some things for something edible. But then they also have to get the food home safely.
