Outline

The war is over and the Netherlands is liberated. Jewish David (13 years old, The Hague) returns from Auschwitz, where his family was murdered. Nobody is waiting for his arrival in the Netherlands. Because the land is in ruins and must be rebuilt. Everywhere are unexploded bombs and landmines that need to be cleared. Lisa Wade shows how dangerous that is.
