Introduction

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (International title: One Great Love / transl. I Will Only Love You Once) is a Philippine family military drama series that aired on ABS-CBN featuring an ensemble cast.

The series focuses on an army soldier and an NPA rebel who share a secret identity as brothers and the dilemma they face – to either uphold their duty or their family.

Outline

Berto reports on Tomas’ background which he traces back to an orphanage. He also finds out Tomas has a cousin, a certain Miranda, who was adopted before him. Javier goes back to Xander’s cell to demand what he knows about Gabrielle. Xander however manages to knock Javier out and tie him up. He claims his life again and sets out to find Gabrielle’s killer. News that Gabrielle’s car is found and Gen. Marcelo immediately goes to the crime scene to investigate. However, the police say everything seems to be wiped clean as Gabrielle’s prints were not visible. They are now alarmed that something bad happened to her. Mimi calls Tomas and tells him she can’t take the secrets anymore. She did what she can to protect herself and that she has no intention of surrendering to the police. Javier dreams of Gabrielle like the time when Remedios died. Gabrielle tells him to change to the old Javier and that he should have been more resilient in proving his innocence than running away.
