Human Weapon is a television show on The History Channel that premiered on 20 July 2007.

The hosts, Jason Chambers and Bill Duff, travelled across the world studying the unique martial arts, or styles of fighting, that have origins in the region.

Outline

Hosts Jason Chambers and Bill Duff travel to the island nation of the Philippines, where the indigenous fighting style, Eskrima, was formed.

Also known as Arnis, Kali, or Eskrima/Escrima. The three are roughly interchangeable umbrella terms for the traditional martial arts of the Philippines (“Filipino Martial Arts”, or FMA), which emphasize weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives, bladed weapons, and various improvised weapons, as well as “open hand” techniques without weapons.
