Outline

Paul sets out on a cross-country odyssey to try and settle a 70 year-old argument: what was the best sniper rifle of the Second World War? Along the way he helps rebuild a rare Soviet rifle, survives a gruelling sniper bootcamp run by one of the deadliest shots on the continent and learns about the origins of the sharpshooter from some hardcore Civil War re-enactors.
