Introduction

The series chronicles the process a groups of individuals follow through selection and training for the British Army’s infamous Parachute Regiment.

Outline

Having finished Parachute Regiment infantry training, the men of Athens Platoon are posted to 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, which is about to become the spearhead unit of the Army’s Airborne Task Force. The battalion could have to jump into battle, so the men must first pass the Basic Parachute Course at No. 1 Parachute Training School at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. If they earn their ‘wings’, they could be deployed to any danger zone in the world at any moment.
