Introduction
Forged in Fire is an American competition series that airs on the History Channel, and is produced by Outpost Entertainment, a Leftfield Entertainment company.
History ordered an initial eight episodes of the series with the first programme premiering on Monday 22 June 2015, at 10.00 pm (US Eastern Time), and ending on 10 August 2010.

Outline
“Fighter” knife: push dagger.
- Round 1: Bladesmiths come to the Forge floor with their own signature blades and go right into testing in the first ever Forged In Fire “Knife Fight”. Four blade smiths will enter, one will be eliminated. Bill Pyles: “Scrim-oowie” (Scimitar/Bowie) w/ retired fire hose handle, Thomas Franklin: Chef’s Knife w/ micarta handle, Karri Rahkonen: Georgian Kinjal w/ bloodwood burl handle, and Rhys: Machete w/ Bocote handle.
- Round 2: Two hours to make a Push Dagger (using 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steel forged into a Damascus billet) Round 3: Fix any issues with the push dagger and add handles to them, plus recreate the “fighter” knife that was made by Forged In Fire Super Champion Collin Sage (S07E34) using the san mai technique in only 6 hours.
