Introduction

The Gallant Men is a 1962-1963 ABC Warner Bros. Television series which depicted an infantry company of American soldiers fighting their way through Italy in World War II.

Outline

Paul Carr guest-stars as a womanising private who risks the life of his buddy for the sake of a potential “conquest” during heavy action in an Italian village. When his behaviour indeed results in his friend’s death, he must cope with a personal guilt that threatens to facilitate his own destruction.
