Introduction

An observational documentary series following serving soldiers who are convicted of serious civilian or military crimes as they serve their sentences under lock and key in the army’s own detention facility, the Military Corrective Training Centre (MCTC) (also known as the Glasshouse).

Outline

Staff at the MCTC have to deal with a detainee who has finally been caught after deserting more than 17 years ago, while another prepares for his trial for desertion. Across the road at Merville Barracks, the Royal Military Police must react quickly to a domestic violence incident involving a serving soldier, but the alleged victim has no idea which block she is in so it is a race against time to find her and bring her to safety
