Introduction

One More Shot (also known as One Shot 2) is a 2024 British action thriller film, and a direct sequel to One Shot (2021). The film was directed by James Nunn and starring Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, Alexis Knapp and Tom Berenger.

Outline

After the black site in Poland falls victim to a devastating attack, Navy SEAL Jake Harris receives a crucial mission: to personally accompany terrorist suspect Amin Mansur to Washington D.C. for intensive interrogation. However, as the intricate process of transferring the prisoner unfolds, chaos ensues when a formidable band of heavily armed and exceptionally skilled mercenaries unleashes a ruthless assault upon the unsuspecting airport grounds. Caught in the heart of this violent storm, Jake must navigate through the mayhem, employing his unmatched SEAL training to protect Mansur and ensure justice prevails.

Production

On 17 February 2023, Scott Adkins revealed that he was working on a sequel to his 2021 action thriller One Shot (2021).

Release

The film was released in the UK on 12 January 2024 and the US on 16 January. Signature Entertainment acquired the rights in the UK.

Trivia

• Filmed almost entirely at London Stansted Airport, with one other location, Tilbury Docks, the shooting schedule was only 4 weeks.
• The opening scene filmed in tilbury docks, features a real terminal operative driver, named Evan Warrior, who was paid £200 and given free food to stay behind after work to help complete filming.
  • He is not credited for his appearance.
• This will mark Scott Adkins and Michael Jai White’s fourth film together, after Undisputed 2, Accident Man and Triple Threat.
• During the initial firefight at the airport, Jake manages to fire 25 shots from his Glock sidearm without appearing to reload.
