Introduction

The story of Irish fighter pilot Brendan “Paddy” Finucane, who at the age of just 21, became the youngest ever Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force, and one of its greatest and most celebrated fighter aces during World War Two.

Outline

In the skies over Southern England, Europe’s destiny hangs in the balance. Irishman Brendan Finucane fulfils his dream of joining the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain, quickly proving his prowess as a natural fighter pilot. Assigned to lead 452 Australian Squadron, he becomes a legendary figure in the war effort.
