Introduction

Documentary series following a batch of fresh-faced 16-17 year old recruits going through the British Army’s basic training at the Army Foundation College Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Each one will suffer successes and failures as they attempt to prove that they have what it takes to be a soldier.

Outline Series 02, Episode 06

The junior soldiers of 7 Platoon have now been commissioned as privates in the British Army, and so they are dispersed across the length and breadth of the country to join their chosen regiments.

Now they must learn new skills and get to grips with their jobs, from bridge-building and demolition with the Royal Engineers, to saving lives in the Royal Army Medical Corps, and tackling battlefield communications with the Royal Signals.
