Outline

When NCIS agent Jack Patterson is killed in a drive-by, Abby feels responsible because she was supposed to meet with him. Using a painting he sent her and a business card of an NSA operative, the team discovers a woman in the desert who may have answers. Gibbs and Tony follow the local sheriff on horseback to the deserts of Arizona to find the woman. Back at the lab, the team uncovers the NSA agent’s real identity and realise Gibbs, Tony and the woman are in danger. Meanwhile, Tony awaits a call that tells him how much he was left in his uncle’s will.
