Introduction

The fifteenth season of the police procedural drama NCIS was originally broadcast between 26 September 2017 and 22 May 2018.

Outline

When cyanide is found in one of the hundreds of care packages he sends to active-duty Marines, resulting in the death of Petty Officer James Sweeney, Gibbs and the team work to clear the name of retired Marine Sergeant John Ross (Drew Carey). Whilst the family starts arguing amongst themselves as to who stood to gain the most from , NCIS’ suspicions quickly falls onto Conspiracy Theory Podcast Host Whit Dexter (Jake Busey), who recently lured Ross onto his show so he could attack him with baseless theories, and try to determine if Dexter or one of his loyal followers is to blame. Ross, who famously was held prisoner by insurgents for 5 years, is struggling to come to terms with it all which draws out Sloanes own history with captivity, forcing them both to confront their personal demons.
