Introduction

Don’t Call Me Charlie is an American sitcom that aired on NBC during the 1962-1963 TV season on Friday night from 9:30 pm to 10:00 pm (EST).

Rural innocent veterinarian Judson McKay is drafted into the army. Going from Iowa to Paris is quite an adjustment but Jud does not change his simple approach to life despite military rules. Colonel Barker is his frequent foil.

Outline

Gen. Steele is planning a party to celebrate his 25th anniversary in the army. He invites Col. Barker to attend, but Barker has a “hot date” and instead sends Madame Fatime to keep the general occupied.
