Introduction

Don’t Call Me Charlie is an American sitcom that aired on NBC during the 1962-1963 TV season on Friday night from 9:30 pm to 10:00 pm (EST).

Rural innocent veterinarian Judson McKay is drafted into the army. Going from Iowa to Paris is quite an adjustment but Jud does not change his simple approach to life despite military rules. Colonel Barker is his frequent foil.

Hilda is an attractive woman who is very good at her job. But Colonel Barker refuses to recognises her talents because of her looks. Dr. McKay is determined to change the way the Colonel thinks.
