Introduction

Don’t Call Me Charlie is an American sitcom that aired on NBC during the 1962-1963 TV season on Friday night from 9:30 pm to 10:00 pm (EST).

Rural innocent veterinarian Judson McKay is drafted into the army. Going from Iowa to Paris is quite an adjustment but Jud does not change his simple approach to life despite military rules. Colonel Barker is his frequent foil.

Captain Roger Andrews is full of self pity after becoming blind and his anger makes him difficult to be around. Dr. McKay looks for assistance and finds it in Pat, Steele’s secretary. Around Pat, Andrews improves his attitude.
