Outline

B.J. gets a call from Hawkeye’s father– the Army mistakenly lists Hawkeye as dead. Hawkeye tries to take advantage of the situation, but it is not as good as he thinks. He can not receive any pay, send out or receive any mail, telegrams, or phone calls.

Note: Gary Burghoff, Loretta Swit, & William Christopher do not appear in this episode.

Note: Timeline: President elect Dwight Eisenhower visit to Korea which is why Hawkeye can not communicate stateside because of security concerns that happened in December 1952.
