Introduction

Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures is a micro-series that retells key moments from the Star Wars franchise in bite-sized, animated form.

The kid-oriented series debuted on the ‘Star Wars Kids’ YouTube Channel and website, StarWarsKids.com, on 03 November 2018.

Using stylised animation, the series of shorts re-imagine key scenes from the saga, initially leading up the release of Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker. The shorts feature audio from the original films (with narration by Dante Basco) and are animated by Titmouse, Inc.

Outline

The episode opens with Princess Leia Organa recording her hologram message to Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi with R2-D2. At that point, C-3PO enters the room and is relieved to find R2-D2. Princess Leia then scurries into hiding. C-3PO asks R2-D2 where he has been. C-3PO then rushes out into the corridor where a gun battle between stormtroopers and rebel troopers is taking place.

R2-D2 tells C-3PO he is on a secret mission to deliver some plans. R2-D2 dodges blaster bolts to walk past the corridor with C-3PO following suit. R2-D2 runs into the path of stormtroopers but rebel troopers shoot them, causing an explosion. R2-D2 travels pat the smoke with C-3PO following him. The two watch a lightsaber–wielding Darth Vader walk past the corridor. The two hear the voice of man screaming as he is cut down by Lord Vader. As they enter an an escape pod, C-3PO asks R2-D2 if he is sure it is safe. As the escape pod blasts off into space, C-3PO remarks he is going to regret this.
