Introduction

Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures is a micro-series that retells key moments from the Star Wars franchise in bite-sized, animated form.

The kid-oriented series debuted on the ‘Star Wars Kids’ YouTube Channel and website, StarWarsKids.com, on 03 November 2018.

Using stylised animation, the series of shorts re-imagine key scenes from the saga, initially leading up the release of Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker. The shorts feature audio from the original films (with narration by Dante Basco) and are animated by Titmouse, Inc.

Outline

At Chalmun’s Spaceport Cantina, Han Solo introduces himself as the captain of the Millennium Falcon. The video then shows a wide landscape shot of Han standing outside his ship. A squad of stormtroopers armed with a tripod-mounted blaster cannon open fire on the Falcon at Docking Bay 94. As the ship flies away, Han fires back and shoots at least two stormtroopers.

As the Falcon flies into space, Han tells the viewer that this is the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. There is a flashback of the Falcon escaping a Summa-verminoth near a gravity well in the Akkadese Maelstrom. The Falcn jumps into hyperspace. The video then shows the Falcon outrunning an Imperial Star Destroyer and TIE fighters above Tatooine.

Returning to the present, Han tells Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi that she is fast enough for the “old man.” Ben says they would like to avoid any Imperial entanglements. Han says this is the real trick as the camera flashes to a dogfight between the Falcon and TIEs.
