Introduction

Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures is a micro-series that retells key moments from the Star Wars franchise in bite-sized, animated form.

The kid-oriented series debuted on the ‘Star Wars Kids’ YouTube Channel and website, StarWarsKids.com, on 03 November 2018.

Using stylised animation, the series of shorts re-imagine key scenes from the saga, initially leading up the release of Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker. The shorts feature audio from the original films (with narration by Dante Basco) and are animated by Titmouse, Inc.

Outline

The video opens with the Millennium Falcon fleeing pursuing TIE fighters and an Imperial Star Destroyer through the Maw Cluster. One of the TIEs is struck by an asteroid while the Falcon collides with a second TIE fighter, destroying it. Han Solo is flying the Falcon with Qi’ra. Han tells Chewbacca to divert auxiliary power to the rear deflector shields. The Wookiee easily switches the controls, earning the praise of Solo who asks since when did he learn to fly. Chewbacca responds in Shyriiwook and Solo is amazed to learn that Chewie is 190 years old.

In a flashback scene, the narrator explains that the mighty Chewbacca is a legendary warrior. Chewbacca is shown firing a bowcaster alongside several Clone troopers and Jedi Master Yoda. The video then switches to Chewbacca leaping onto a NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcer, scattering the B1 battle droids riding the tank droid. Chewbacca plants several detonators before grabbing a rope from a passing Oevvaor Jet Catamarans. The video then flashes to Chewbacca fighting members of the Pyke Syndicate in the spice mines of Kessel.

Back in the Falcon, Han remarks that Chewbacca looks great for his age while Qi’ra flashes the Wookiee a smile. Qi’ra gives up her seat and tells Chewbacca to get into the co-pilot’s seat. Qi’ra stands behind Han and Chewbacca as they fly the Falcon through the Maw Cluster, completing the Kessel Run.
