This volume traces the controversial history of the German anti-Nazi resistance, where religious leaders, students, and even top Wehrmacht generals were brutally supressed by the Nazi regime. After several abortive assassination attempts against Hitler, culminating in the 20 July 1944 bombing, the resistance in Germany was all but wiped out. Features rare archive footage as well as dramatised reconstructions and profiles of Hitler and his generals.
