Outline

In 480 BC 40,000 Spartans engaged 300,000 Persian invaders who had already destroyed Athens. Terry explains how the Spartans were able to defeat the Persians in the Battle of Plataea, kill Persian General Mardonias and avenge the death Leonidas.
