Outline

Filmed entirely using CGI, the series stays as close as possible to historical reality, with characters speaking in Latin and Greek. The Destiny of Rome takes us to the heart of Ancient Rome with its civil wars, and traces the careers of two exceptional leaders: Marc Antony and Octavian. From the assassination of Julius Caesar to Octavian’s triumph over Antony and Cleopatra, this legendary story is told through these two spectacular battles.

Part 01: Avenging Caesar

Marc Antony and Octavian were part of the triumvirate seeking to avenge Caesar. The two leaders managed to combine their forces to punish Brutus and Cassius, Caesar’s assassins, following the Battle of Philippi in 42 BC. But how would the ambitions of the two men collide as time went on?
