Introduction
13 in de Oorlag (13 in the War) is a docudrama about young people in the Second World War. In each episode, the war experience of a 13-year-old is central.
Outline
From now on the Germans are the boss in the Netherlands. Lisa Wade shows that normal life continues even during the war. Hans (13 years old, Amsterdam) now has to learn German words for an exam. Much to the dismay of his father, who cannot forgive the Germans for bombing Rotterdam. When a German soldier is billeted with the family, things go completely wrong.
