Outline

While picking up parts for Andromeda, Dylan Hunt is arrested on charges for assassinating a planetary dictator three hundred years ago, by one of the men who participated in the assassination, leaving Trance to rescue him and solve the mystery of how the man survived for three centuries. It is eventually revealed that the dictator was killed in self-defence by Gharis Rhade, but the man set to replace him became as bad as he was and survived through cloning. When Dylan and Trance confront the man, Trance offers a peaceful solution: to abdicate power and include the rebels in the new government that forms so that everyone has a voice. The man, who had never wanted to become a tyrant, agrees.
