Land Girls is a British television period drama series, first broadcast on BBC One on 07 September 2009.
Land Girls was created by Roland Moore and commissioned by the BBC to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War.
Bea is pregnant and finding it difficult to conceal her situation from those around her. Sergeant Dennis Tucker (Danny Webb) is on the look out for enemy sympathisers and focuses his attentions on Nancy. He asks Esther to read the women’s letters. Finch and Martin (Mykola Allen) sell home made carrot whiskey. Lord Hoxley’s horse is injured and he realises that his marriage is over. Annie receives news that her husband has been killed in action.
