Introduction

Navy Log is an American drama anthology series that initially aired for one season on CBS.

It relates the greatest survival war stories in the history of the United States Navy. The series premiered in 1955, but the following year, it was moved to ABC, where it aired until 1958.

Outline

In the French Mediterranean port of Villefranche, Mama Germaine insists on feeding sailors from the US Sixth Fleet and loaning them money when they need it. Then she learns that a young sailor is dying and needs a rare medicine which the Navy doctors can not locate.
