Introduction

In Love and War is a Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie, directed by John Kent Harrison. It is based on the 1971 book Love and War in the Apennines by Eric Newby.

Also known as Hallmark Hall of Fame: In Love and War (#51.1) (anthology series, US) and Love and War in the Appenines (working title, US).

Outline

Based on a true story, a British soldier stranded in enemy territory during WWII falls in love with a local Italian girl. But with the Germans advancing, the war that brought them together could now separate them forever.
