Introduction
Strange World is an American television programme about military investigations into criminal abuses of science and technology.
ABC commissioned 13 episodes, of which three aired in March 1999, before the network cancelled the programme. The remaining ten episodes produced subsequently premiered on the Sci-Fi Channel in Spring 2002.
Brilliant, terminally ill, army scientist Paul Turner investigates criminal activities that involve unethical experiments on humans, environmental hazards, biological weapons and a mysterious group with a sinister agenda.


Outline
Turner investigates a mass suicide in a closed religious community of Spirit Falls. He suspects that the locals may have had the Methuselah gene that slows down the aging process and someone badly wanted their genome sequence.
