Introduction

Forged in Fire is an American competition series that airs on the History Channel, and is produced by Outpost Entertainment, a Leftfield Entertainment company.

History ordered an initial eight episodes of the series with the first programme premiering on Monday 22 June 2015, at 10.00 pm (US Eastern Time), and ending on 10 August 2010.

Outline

It’s hammer time in the forge when four smiths have to make knives out of 10 lb sledgehammers. After the blades are smashed and bashed in a brutal round of testing, the two surviving smiths return to their home forges to recreate another iconic pounder-the Polish War Hammer. In the end, only one smith will hammer out the competition to win $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire Champion.
