Introduction

Forged in Fire is an American competition series that airs on the History Channel, and is produced by Outpost Entertainment, a Leftfield Entertainment company.

History ordered an initial eight episodes of the series with the first programme premiering on Monday 22 June 2015, at 10.00 pm (US Eastern Time), and ending on 10 August 2010.

Outline

In the second part of the Armed Forces Tournament, four US service members redeploy to the forge floor to go head to head in one five-hour battle. Up first it’s the Champions Duel where two Forged in Fire winners battle it out. Next, the Sergeants Duel, pits a sergeant from the Army against a sergeant from the Air Force. Which two smiths will come out on top and advance to the final round of the Armed Forces Tournament?
