Outline

After a defeat in the presidential campaign, Theodore Roosevelt leaves for the Brazilian wilderness in search of his lost youth. Alongside his friend Farrel Nash, his son Kermit, and the then Brazilian Colonel Rondon, the ex-president of the US also embarks on a trip through his memories, revisiting an important period in his life, when he occupied the white house.
