Introduction
Tempos de Paz is a 2009 Brazilian film , of the historical drama genre, directed by Daniel Filho, with a screenplay by Bosco Brasil based on his play Novas Diretrizes em Tempos de Paz.
Also known as Peacetime or Time of Peace (English world-wide titles).


Outline
The story takes place in 1945, when Polish actor Clausewitz, a fugitive from the Nazi regime, travels to Brazil seeking a new life away from the memories of the Second World War. But on landing, the man is stopped by Segismundo, a customs interrogator and former Estado Novo torturer, who suspects the Pole is a Nazi. So the two make a deal in which Clausewitz must make Segismundo cry with his memories of the war or else he will have to leave the country.
