Introduction

Gulltransporten (English: Gold Run) is a 2022 drama, thriller set during World War II by director Hallvard Bræin.

Outline

In 1940, the Germans invaded Norway with clear goals in mind: the king, the government, to control the coast, the iron ore and the Norwegian gold reserves. At the same time, a group of resistance fighters was given a most important and secret mission: save Norway’s gold.

He is not the bravest of men, but he is given a great responsibility and an enormous task – to get the whole Norwegian gold reserve away from the Germans during the invasion of Norway during the outbreak of WW2.
