Voices of Liberation is a 11-part documentary series about the Allied liberation of Europe during World War II.

Outline

Operation Overlord was a day late due to atrocious weather. It began on the 06 June 1944. During the night, thousands of paratroopers landed on both sides of the projected bridgehead during the dangerous airborne assault. At dawn, thousands of transports ships and boats began landing the troops on the shore. At certain points, the German resistance was fierce.
