Introduction

Outline

At the start of World War I, seriously wounded soldier Gabriel Ferraud is selected to participate in a top-secret research programme of the French army that aims to create a new kind of fighter. After being injected with a serum of mysterious origin, Gabriel is given unprecedented abilities. Now stronger, faster, and more resistant than a normal human being, he joins an elite unit of augmented soldiers: the Sentinels. But he is very quickly confronted with a terrifying reality that threatens to change the fate of the war.
