Introduction

Apocalypse: Never-Ending War 1918-1926 (The Impossible Peace 1918-1926; Apocalypse, La Paix Impossible 1918-1926 (French version)), is a television series in two parts retracing the difficult peace that followed the First World War.
It was broadcast in France on France 2 on 11 November 2018 and in Canada on ICI RDI on 07 and 08 November 2018, as well as on ICI TÉLÉ and ICI TOU.TV on 10 and 17 November.
It was made after Apocalypse: Verdun.
It gathers known or unpublished period documents relating the major events of the time. The archive images have been restored and colourised.
The series is directed by Isabelle Clarke, Daniel Costelle and Mickaël Gamrasni and narrated by Mathieu Kassovitz.
