Introduction

Apocalypse, Stalin is a television series in three parts retracing the meteoric rise of Joseph Stalin and the birth of the Stalinist ideology, broadcast on France 2 on 03 November 2015.
It was made after Apocalypse, the First World War, and before Apocalypse: Verdun.
It brings together known and previously unpublished period documents of the great events that led to his becoming General Secretary of the Soviet Communist Party and leading the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).
The archive images have been restored and colourised. The series is directed by Isabelle Clarke and Daniel Costelle and narrated by Mathieu Kassovitz.
Outline of Part 03
Stalin fifteen years ago transformed the Russian society to create another one by a destruction sowing terror and under any pretext makes stop and deport its people to the gulag or the facts to shoot and by the lawsuits of Moscow makes eliminate its former rivals policies.
It imposes on the peasants through violence the total collectivisation of agricultural lands creating the kolkhozes and sovkhozes causing famine in Ukraine.
He plans a heavy industrialisation with forced march building colossal dams, hundreds of kilometres of canals, giant factories and marble columns of the Moscow metro by zeks and convicts of the gulags.
He has instituted a strict framework of recruitment to the Soviet youth, establishes an atheism based on a materialistic vision eliminating all forms of religion and organising incessant propaganda, ordering a cult of personality to his glory.
