Introduction

The Last Ship is an American action-drama television series, loosely based on the 1988 novel of the same name by William Brinkley.

The series premiered on TNT on 22 June 2014 and concluded after five seasons on 11 November 2018.

Outline Series 03, Episode 01

It has been several months since the United States began rebuilding, with Tom Chandler as the new Chief of Naval Operations and Slattery as the new captain of the Nathan James, though they are still reeling following Dr. Scott’s death. While Chandler is in China trying to deal with the obstructive Peng to pass on the cure, Slattery and several other officers are ambushed at a Vietnamese nightclub while building relations with the locals.
