Introduction

The third season of Stargate Atlantis, an American-Canadian television series, began airing on 21 July 2006 on the US-American Sci Fi Channel.

The third season concluded after 20 episodes on 05 February 2007 on the Canadian The Movie Network.

The show itself is a spin off of its sister show, Stargate SG-1.

The series was developed by Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper, who also served as executive producers.

Season three regular cast members include Joe Flanigan, Torri Higginson, Jason Momoa, Rachel Luttrell, Paul McGillion, and David Hewlett as Dr. Rodney McKay.

Outline (Season 03)

This season concentrates on more character driven stories.

Along with new insight on the characters, the expedition discovers a new threat, one that could be the precursor to the Replicators.

Some important characters leave the series in this season, and the fate of Atlantis once again is in the hands of the humans from Earth.

Outline (Episode)

Weir and the team visit M7R-227, a planet where an advanced civilisation lives who split off from the Lanteans thousands of years ago, and have built an entire planet out of Ancient technology.

But after their adverse behaviour, it is soon discovered that they might not be Lantean, or even organic for that matter.
