Introduction

Stargate Origins (abbreviated as SGO) is an American science fiction adventure web series and part of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s Stargate franchise.

Stargate Origins serves as a prequel to Stargate SG-1 and explores the backstory of Dr. Catherine Langford, the daughter of Professor Paul Langford – the man who discovered the Stargate in Giza, Egypt in 1928, as depicted in the 1994 feature film Stargate.

The events of the series take place 10 years after the discovery of the gate.

Outline

Professor Langford is forced to help Brücke and Aset negotiate an uneasy alliance that threatens the to unleash an unspeakable horror.

Meanwhile, Catherine and team get a much needed stroke of fortune as Wasif’s miraculous recovery is followed by a dramatic change in heart by their captors.
