Soldier of Fortune, Inc. is an American action-adventure television series which ran in syndication from 1997 to 1999, about an elite team (composed of mostly former military personnel) who performed “unofficial” missions for the US Government.

Outline

An elite crime-fighting group combines non-lethal weaponry and special operational powers to perform tasks beyond the capabilities of standard law enforcers as it embarks on a series of high-risk missions set by the US government. In the first episode, the team’s job is to rescue four US servicemen who were shot down and captured by the Iraqi military.
