Introduction
Fairly Secret Army is a British sitcom which ran to thirteen episodes over two series between 1984 and 1986.
Though not a direct spin-off from The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, the lead character, Major Harry Truscott, was very similar to Geoffrey Palmer’s character of Jimmy in that series, and the scripts were written by Reginald Perrin’s creator and writer David Nobbs.
Outline
The members question Nancy about how long she has known Harry. They come up with some story about not knowing each other. Harry tries to convince Nancy that it is a real chore to sleep with Jill just to hear her talk in her sleep. That night Jill says they are doing a big job on the 18th. At last he has news to report to Smith. They go out and are followed so they split up. They keep bumping into people they know. Meanwhile Throttle meets Smith at the amusement park and gives him a fake list of names that the army has helped.
